Beto O 'Rourke, Democratic presidential candidate, became frustrated with what he sees as the US's inaction over gun control after Saturday's mass shooting in his home state, Texas.
O 'Rourke appeared in "State of the Union" to discuss shootings that took place in West Texas, killing seven people and injuring 19 others. The suspect, who is reported to be in his thirties, was shot dead by the police.
"We record an average of 300 mass shots a year, no other country comes close – so yes, it's angry," he told CNN. "And if we do not call it for what it is … then we will continue to have this kind of bloodshed in America."

O 'Rourke then tweeted some of his comments from CNN's interview and dropped another F bomb as part of his recap.
"Thoughts and prayers have done nothing to stop the epidemic of gun violence. Yes, it's settled; and if we do not say it for what it is, we will continue to have this bloodshed in America, "he repeated.

An hour later, he then posted a second tweet, defending his foul language and claiming that it is more uninspired for an infant to get shot than for someone to curse on TV.
"The blasphemy is not the atomic bomb.What is profane, it is a 17-month-old baby who is touched in the face," he tweeted.

These are not the only profanities used by O & # 82; Rouke to express his feelings about gun control. Following the Saturday shootings, he tweeted a video of himself talk to a group of people, using almost the same language to describe the tragedy.

"We do not know how many people were shot dead, I do not know how many people were killed … I do not know what the motivation is … but we know it's f — ed up, "he said.
"We know that this must stop in this country.There is no reason for us to accept this as our fortune, as our future, as our destiny."
