After a huge demonstration at E3 2021 last month, Ubisoft made the decision to delay the Rainbow Six Extraction cooperative spin-off until “January 2022”. The title was due out in September, but it looks like it will take a little longer in the oven. This is the second postponement of the day for the French publisher, with Riders Republic also dethroned until October.
“We are taking the opportunity to take the extra time to bring this vision to life as it deserves in January 2022,” a spokesperson said. “We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative and exciting experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play.”
More details will be shared in the near future, but you’ll have to make do with Rainbow Six Siege for the rest of the year.
