The woman is accused of leaving newborn puppies in a plastic bag near a dumpster located behind a NAPA Auto Parts store Thursday afternoon, according to Riverside County Animal Services.

The authorities are looking for the woman who would have thrown a plastic bag full of puppies.

Commander Chris Mayer, who works for the Veterinary Services, said he was preparing a case of animal cruelty against this woman with the help of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office and the Attorney's Office. district.

A passerby discovered the bag and an employee of the store then contacted the animal service. The puppies were about three days old and are supposed to be terrier mixtures, said the animal services.

"Without the good Samaritan's actions, the puppies may not have survived any longer," Riverside County Animal Services said in a statement. "Thursday's Coachella temperatures were around the mid-1990s".

Members of Animal Service's veterinary team took care of the puppies and set up a rescue group to accept them and bottle-feed them, the statement said.

"There is no excuse for unloading the puppies," Mayer said. "Especially in our time when we, or other shelters, would be willing to turn these animals into adoptive parents or rescue partners." It was a shameful act.
