It shows The Karate Kid ended. It shows The Karate Kid Part III ended. It’s even how Cobra Kai first season ended. The All Valley Karate Championship is back in Cobra Kai season four and all the action hits the mat on December 31st.

This is the date that Netflix has just announced as the return of the fourth season of Cobra Kai. Last season saw longtime enemies Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) team up against a new threat, the now all-evil Cobra Kai led by John Kreese (Martin Kove). But Sensei Kreese is not alone. He recruited his old boyfriend and Cobra Kai original owner Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), in the mixture. Obtain a overview of the suite in this teaser below.

One of the many joys of Cobra Kai (who just got nominated for several Emmys by the way) is how its creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald not only tell a compelling tale of new and old generations, it’s how they choose to pay homage to the original films. Last season it was a trip to Okinawa like in Karate Kid Part II, where Daniel saw old friends in Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita) and Chozen (Yuji Okumoto). Later, they even brought back Ali, the character of Elizabeth Shue from the first film.

Now we know they bring back Karate Kid Part III‘s Terry Silver and he opens a huge box of worms. But every season always has a big surprise or two beyond what’s been revealed before, and you must be wondering what they have in store not just for this season, but next season. Ah, did you forget? Cobra Kai has already been renewed for season five.

Are you gonna fuck it all Cobra Kai season four when it releases on December 31? Which surprise would you most like to see? Tell us below.
