Cody Rhodes, professional wrestler, applauds Banjo-Kazooie's unveiling for Smash Bros. Ultimate

A character from Microsoft (even if you say Rare is still Microsoft) appear as a special guest in the title of a major first part of a competitor is a huge thing. People still had hope, but no one really expected it to happen. I've seen complaints about The Hero reveals (advertising for his game) and Joker (his game is not on Switch), but no complaints about BK … mostly just "of joy" .

All this as a person who does not feel any particular way towards BK because I have never played their games and I do not like collectathons.
