Colby Covington interrupts Dana White's blackjack game and wants answers

Colby Covington said he had not been able to communicate directly with UFC President Dana White since he was out of the UFC 235 title game.

The way Covington (14-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) got his face to face is unlikely to improve his relationship with the UFC boss.

After crashing at the open training of UFC 235 of Kamaru Usman and heckling the man who earned the welterweight title against champion Tyron Woodley (19-3 -1 MMA, 9-2-1 UFC) Saturday in Covington's place, Chaos sued White in Las Vegas casinos.

Covington appeared on his Instagram Story as he headed straight for White, who was playing blackjack and was naturally surprised to see the former holder of the 170-pound interim title. This surprise quickly turned into anger and, once White realized that Covington was filming, he asked him to turn off the camera (via Twitter):

Covington has consistently pushed the UFC ladder after failing twice against Woodley. He became interim champion with a win over Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 225 in June, but has not competed since and was subsequently stripped of his title.

After failing to have the opportunity to compete in the UFC 235 unchallenged championship, Covington demanded his release from the UFC and even threatened to sue this promotion.
