In May, Coldplay teamed up with Swedish pop mastermind Max Martin for the synthesized single “Higher Power”. There is more where it came from. Today Coldplay announced all the details of their new album Music of the spheres. The LP will be released in October and the band recorded it all with Martin, one of the most successful producers in pop history.

In a colorful handwritten note they posted on Instagram, Coldplay revealed all of the release plans for the new LP. There’s a new single called “Coloraturaon” coming out on Friday, and then we’ll have another single in September. Here is that note:

Coldplay also shared a trailer for the LP, which features plenty of quick and disorienting song clips and cosmic imagery, along with its tracklist. Music of the spheres has 12 tracks, and five of those tracks have emojis for the titles, which seems like the most Coldpay thing Coldplay has ever played. “Human Heart”, the song Chris Martin and We Are KING released on the Glastonbury livestream, does not appear on the album. Check out the trailer and tracklist below.
