Cole Beasley’s categorical refusal to get the shot costs him and the team.

Beasley and fellow Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis will both be miss five days because they had close contact with a Bills training staff member who tested positive for COVID-19, according to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.

Although Beasley and Davis have tested negative for COVID-19, unvaccinated players who have close contact with someone who tests positive are required to self-isolate from the team for five days. If Beasley and Davis were vaccinated, they would be allowed to continue practicing as long as they were negative.

Beasley was perhaps the most vehement of all the NFL players who refused to be vaccinated, repeatedly saying he was unwilling to receive the safe and effective vaccine. Now the Bills will have to train for a week without their receiving corps being full.
