TikTok star Cole Carrigan has apologized to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian after being hit with a cease-and-desist letter from West’s ex-bodyguard.
Page Six reported on Friday that Carrigan – a makeup influencer with nearly 350,000 followers – posted claims on the social media site that West’s bodyguard Steve Stanulis arranged a reunion for Carrigan and West in a W hotel in November.
Stanulis’ attorney called Carrigan’s allegations “completely and utterly false.” He added that Stanulis, “denies, in the strongest terms, all of these false and defamatory statements,” and said Stanulis had never heard of Carrigan.
On Sunday, Carrigan posted a video of himself with the ban-and-disclaimer letter apologizing to West and Kardashian, and – though he didn’t go so far as to say he made it up. West’s story – he said he put the information. there because West “voted for Trump.”
“In order for me to stay out of court and not be sued, I have to apologize to Mr. West and Kim Kardashian West,” the TikToker says in the clip. “So hey, Kim, if you look at this I’m so sorry, I honestly did this for the simple fact that your husband voted for Trump, and we just can’t have this clown in America, so you’re welcome . ”
He then says, “Second, I hope that doesn’t spoil my chances of making the KKW pr list because I’m dying for those contour sticks.” KKW is Kardashian’s beauty line, which recently struck a $ 200 million deal with Coty.
Stanulis told Page Six he quit working for West in 2016. Sources also told Page Six that West had never heard of Carrigan or met him. Stanulis, now a filmmaker, is working on his latest film, “Red Money”.
Stanulis’ legal letter demanded that Carrigan apologize to him, as well as West and Kardashian, and to stop posting about him. (Carrigan never named Stanulis in his posts, but included his image and name with some alleged direct messages.)
Page Six exclusively reported last week that West and Kardashian are headed for divorce. There were subsequently wild and unconfirmed fan rumors online about the pair.
