Colin Kaepernick and Nike unveil their new black jersey after the NFL rules

Colin Kaepernick, recently released from his recent agreement with the NFL over the collusion he has been using, is taking action. He will not play professional football, if he does it again, but he still does a lot of things with Nike, which has put on sale a new Kaepernick jersey.

That's the first real thing we've seen from Kaepernick since the NFL settlement, which was also attended by former teammate and activist Eric Reid.

The shirt itself is quite pretty – all black, with white numbers. It's clean and I will probably have one myself. This jersey is part of a larger campaign with Nike and Kaepernick, the face of the company's 30th anniversary "Just Do It" campaign. The agreement between Kaepernick and Nike is a "star" deal, tied with the deals signed by the best NFL athletes, and will include shoes, shirts and of course: jerseys.

Previously, Kaepernick had sold a jersey on his own website, which was marked "#IMWITHKAP" instead of the name, but it was very similar to the one proposed by Nike. He also sold apparently immediately. The shirt sold by Kaepernick was supposed to benefit the camp "Know your rights" and, as far as I know, no provision of this type exists for those sold by Nike.

Of course, Kaepernick himself has been very generous with charitable donations in the past and Nike will always do what Nike does: manufacture and sell items, usually at a high price and quality.
