On the second day of 2019, NCAA tournament games begin Wednesday night with the No. 16 seeded North Carolina Central (18-15) and the No. 16 seed, North Dakota (18-15), to qualify for first place. Duke in the first round of the tournament, Friday. The early-night summit is the first of a double-header program at Dayton that ends with the 11th seed, St. John's (21-12) and Arizona State (22-10). The winner will qualify in the first round to face sixth seed Buffalo in Tulsa.
