Southern California’s home game against Colorado on Saturday has been called off, the conference announced Thursday.

The Trojans have not reached the minimum number of fellows available for a specific position under the Pac-12 policy.

The game will be declared uncontested.

“Not playing this game is very disappointing for our student-athletes and our fans,” the conference said in its statement announcing the cancellation. “While we all want to see our student football athletes compete on the pitch, our number one priority must remain the health and safety of everyone involved with Pac-12 football programs.

The game was the 14th to be canceled or postponed this week.

This is the third in the Pac-12, joining the Apple Cup, between Washington and Washington State, and the Utah-Arizona State game.

Colorado will instead host the state of San Diego on Saturday (5 p.m. ET, Pac-12 network). The Aztecs’ game against Fresno State was canceled earlier.

Utah will travel to Washington on Saturday in a new scheduled game.
