College football is back in full swing!
Saturday brings a plethora of exciting matches, highlighted by a handful of heavyweight clashes.

The Oregon No.12 kicked off against the Ohio State No.3 in a rematch of the 2015 First College Football Playoff National Championship, in front of a packed house of lively fans at the stadium. Ohio to Columbus.
And in Memphis, two legendary former NFL stars – Deion Sanders and Eddie George – will face off as head coaches when Jackson State faces Tennessee State in the Southern Heritage Classic.

In the first quarter, Anthony Brown pushed the Ducks down the field with that perfectly placed 19-yard dime.

Ducks strike first
It was a dead end after the first frame, but it didn’t stay that way for long.
Early in the second, CJ Verdell ran 14 yards for an Oregon touchdown.
Return the favor
Halfway through the frame, CJ Stroud connected with Garrett Wilson to tie things up at 7.
Double problem
As the minutes went by before half-time, Verdell netted his second score of the night, this time on a 14-yard pass from Brown to give the Ducks a 14-7 lead before the break.
The third time is the charm
Oregon picked up where they left off to start the third quarter, as Verdell burst and found the end zone on that massive 77-yard run – good for his third score of the game.
Keep it close
Ohio State hit back with this TD between Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to keep a game to one score.
Run it back
That made things a little too close for Oregon’s comfort, so Travis Dye extended the Ducks lead with this TD – the third UO score of the day – to go up 28-14 heading into the final quarter.
To exchange
The Buckeyes had a game to one, 28-21, leading fourth, thanks to that sophisticated footwork from TreVeyon Henderson.
Tulsa in the state of Oklahoma
Fast on their feet
The Golden hurricanes‘defense came up with huge stops on OSUThe first two practices of the game to keep things scoreless in the first quarter, but Oklahoma State came out strong in the second quarter, as quarterback Spencer Sanders found Jaden Bray for a 26-yard touchdown – the first score of his cowboy career.

Not so fast
Minutes later, as the Cowboys tried again to charge onto the field, Sanders’ pass was intercepted by Tulsa linebacker Justin Wright and came back from midfield for a touchdown to tie things up at 7 before the half time.

Reign cane
In the third quarter, Deneric Prince easily found the end zone to give the Golden Hurricanes a 14-7 lead halfway through the frame.
All business
But Sanders had other ideas, finding Bryson Green for six. The capture, which was initially ruled out of bounds, tied it at 14 at the start of the fourth quarter.
