Rumba until 5 am: requirements for bars

The District issued a decree by which will allow overnight settlements to operate until 5 am. This benefit will only work for bars and clubs that have the "Security Seal" to be issued by the administration.

This stamp will be the proper special permit that establishments will receive, and obtain it is necessary to comply with a series of requirements. The accreditation will be done through a virtual platform developed by the Government Secretariat

There are in total 16 requirements to which a local must satisfy to be eligible for the measure . The administrator or the legal representative of the institution must demonstrate to the authorities the following conditions:

– Perform an evacuation exercise once a year and distribute it on the social networks. If the establishment has more than 300 people, there must be two exercises a year

– Render or have an agreement for the chosen chauffeur service or taxi safe. For this, a copy of the agreement or contract with the transport company is required

– Lending or having an agreement for the parking service with the possibility of leaving the vehicle during the night with a single rate . A document must be submitted indicating this agreement.

– Having a customer service web page in which the parking, taxi and selected driver agreements are informed.

– Have a surveillance camera system inside and outside the institution. Cameras must cover 100% of the property with the exception of bathrooms.
