In early April, Ghost Recon Wildlands by Tom Clancy received a packet of downloadable content. He implemented peer customization, the sabotage mode for Ghost War, and a cross-mission with Splinter Cell . However, it was only the first of four downloadable content packs for the second year.

By means of a new video, Ubisoft announced Special Operation # 2. This will be available from July 24 and will implement the following content:

A PvE (Player vs. Scenario) mode in which players will only be able to create an avatar and they will have to deal with Santa's poster Blanca fulfilling the following conditions:

  • Only a main weapon can be used. However, it can be traded in a box of ammo or traded with that of a fallen enemy.
  • When reloading a weapon, any ammunition remaining in the chamber will be lost.
  • A friendly fire will be activated. In other words, the player's shots will hurt his teammates.
  • Once he dies, there are no new attempts. Players must create an avatar again and start over from the beginning.

In Campaign and Ghost mode, players can disable companions controlled by AI. This will not only increase the difficulty, but allow the players to get better rewards.

Special Operations # 2 will also add a Victory Screen that will show the members of the winning team, and the Observer Mode that will be used to show custom games more effectively.

There will also be new daily missions that will be used to obtain prestige credits. This piece can also be obtained in the campaign, Ghost Mode and Ghost War. Prestige credits will be used to purchase new clbades, prestige boxes and weapons packages.

Like the previous package, Special Operations # 2 will include a new issue with a free PEC mission – which will be revealed in the coming days -, new maps for Ghost War and two new PvP clbades (Player vs. Player). He will also add 100 new items to Battle Boxes. These include weapons, vehicles, accessories and gestures.
