Envigado mayor Raúl Cardona and eight other defendants at the supposed contract fair did not accept, during a hearing on Monday, charges brought by the Office of the Prosecutor over the alleged fair of contracts with public funds.

The controller of Envigado, José Conrado Restrepo, was linked to the sale of the lot located in the village of Pantanillo, for which he had been charged with the offense of non-compliance with the contractual obligations; embezzlement by appropriation, as co-author; and lie in a private document to determine the quality. In the case of tablets, they accused him of the crime of undue interest in the conclusion of contracts.

The Secretary of Education, Diego Fernando Echavarría, has been charged, in the case of tablets, with excessive interest in concluding contracts, as the main author and in concluding contracts without complying with legal obligations.
