PUBLIMETRO has acceded to the official version of the company. Cinema Colombia denies censorship of documentary The negociation.

By a statement, Munir Falah, president of Cine Colombia, denied that the documentary is not projected The negociation.

The production reviews the peace process and the conversations between the government and the guerrillas, from which a discussion on forgiveness and the end of the war for Colombians continues.

Former president Álvaro Uribe, through his social networks, hinted that the documentary was lying. This, since he considers that the production shows him and the former Minister of Justice, Fernando Londoño, as "enemies of peace".

Then, some users noticed that the film was no longer among Cine Colombia's upcoming releases and that the rumors of censorship began. When that happened, PUBLIMETRO tried to contact the company without getting an answer.

The indignation was immediate and social networks provided mbadive support for the projection of the band.

For this reason, the company has demonstrated in this regard the night of today, November 27, and has made the following clarifications:

"Cine Colombia informs the public that it has not at any time been under pressure for the documentary to be removed from the movie theaters." Cine Colombia does not understand why some media have reported, wrongly, that it is censored or withdrawn. Finally, Cine Colombia reiterates and confirms that the documentary "Negotiation will be screened in cinemas, as planned in the initial programming".

If this position is maintained, the premiere of the documentary will take place on Thursday, November 29th.
