After 107 searches in residences and places of sale, 738 kilos of different drugs were seized. Marijuana remains the most seized drug, with a total of 678 kilograms, followed by coca base with 23.31 kilograms confiscated and bazuco with 23.25 kilograms.
For synthetic drugs, a total of 5,910 units of clonazepam were seized by Mebuc members during the 11 months of operation this year. In addition, the Mebuc police informed, 11 homes have entered the looming domination.
New operation at Morrorrico
In the early hours of Tuesday, members of the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Police Task Force in Uniform took up the neighborhoods of Commune 14, in the Morrorrico sector, in search of the biggest narcotics distributors in northeastern Bucaramanga. .
The police operation, called "Renacer" and which started at 3 am, was aimed at capturing 24 criminals. To this end, 18 raids have been deployed in places where the authorities vetoed them.
In a joint work developed by the Mebuc and the Prosecutor General's Office, the dismantling of the "La 17" criminal structure, which had two hallucinogenic distribution centers in the Miraflores district, was completed.

During the investigation, which was triggered by community complaints, the authorities managed to identify the leaders of this band, the residences they used with the distribution centers and the modus operandi. "The 17".

The authorities have established that this criminal organization has managed to market up to 1,800 daily doses of narcotics, sales generating a profit of more than $ 270 million per month.
The commander of Mebuc said that after the operation, in addition to its microtrafic activities, this group had also obtained illegal resources through extortion and the theft of intermunicipal utility vehicles.
Captured persons will be charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, trafficking, manufacture and possession of narcotics and the use of juveniles for criminal purposes by some of the criminals.
