Its function will be to take pictures of the Earth from the space. The satellite is equipped with a resolution camera of 30 meters per pixel. On this basis, there will be a predominantly controlled photography and reconnaissance platform from Colombia, specifically from Marco Fidel Suárez Air Base in Cali, which will facilitate the performance of the armed forces.
This will be just the first of many steps for the Air Force to position itself in space by 2030.
