As Mark Zuckerberg did a few months ago, it will be the turn of Sundar PichaiGoogle CEO, who will appear before the US Congress on Dec. 5, according to the Washington Post, citing three different sources.
The head of the company must answer a series of questions relating to the various controversies in which the company was involved, as was the case for the CEO of Facebook.
After rejecting the invitation last September, Pichai will eventually attend and, although he has been harshly criticized for escaping his appearance, he will now try to calm down the game.
The main topics to be discussed at this meeting will be: the national political issue and the possible presence of society in China with a new censored search engine.
Regarding the first problem, it is suspected that the search engine alters the results to harm the members of the Republican Party in the United States.

Even President Donald Trump himself directly pointed out that "last August, the firm had manipulated the searches and claimed that the results that appeared about his news were only a media vision." and false news.
"In other words, they rigged it, for me and for the others, so that almost all the stories and news are bad," said the president.
Another point to discuss will be a possible return of Google to China, ten years after censorship of the search engine.
Prior to this situation, the same Pichai indicated that, until now, the subject was "purely exploratory" and that, for the moment, it is not planned to operate on Chinese soil.
Thousands of employees of the company protested against this project. This is the last time this project was announced a few days ago following a public letter calling for the immediate cessation of development.
