In the letter described as "cynical", the criminal group tried to apologize and blamed the mayor for being responsible for the violence in the neighborhoods of "The 13".
The criminals point out in the statement and claim "lack of equality" on the part of the authorities: "They must be fair and have a firm hand with everyone and have no preference for any criminal group. The Mayor of Medellin totally rejected this claim, saying that there was no justification for the acts of violence perpetrated by these criminals in the city. Similarly, they emphasized that there was no favoritism towards these criminals and that everyone had to respect the law for crimes committed against the community.
