A great concert for the 30th anniversary of Culture Metro

The Metro Medellín wants to celebrate the 23 years of operation of the system and 30 years of Metro Culture with an excellent concert at Parque de los Deseos this Friday, November 30.

"The tribute to teachers of Colombian tropical music" will take place from 20:00. and will pay tribute to artists Fruko, Fernando González, Fernando Pabón, Luis Alberto Flores and Jorge Cottes.

The La Toma group, one of the city's most representative urban sound groups, will receive versions of their hits played in orchestras such as The Star Super Orchestra, The Combo of the Stars, The Tropicombo, The Group Galé, The Corraleros del Majagual, Fruko and Tesos, El Combo Que nota and La Sonora Carruseles.

The tribute will present new versions of the tropical songs, prepared jointly by the honored teachers of the La Toma group: Fernando González (Loneliness, the soul of love, I will not come back), Fernando Pabón (trombone at Combo de las Estrellas), Jorge Cottes (In silence I will love you and Distance), Luis Alberto Flórez (Micaela) and Julio Ernesto Estrada "Fruko" (The prisoner, Tania, The walker).

This is "the result of more than a year and a half of work and will be presented exclusively and for the first time to the public, in this great Tribute," said the subway in a statement.

The entrance is free with limited capacity.
