Angélica Lozano requests the resignation of the prosecutor by the Odebrecht case

Now, with this same sentence, the senator risks baderting that Néstor Humberto Martínez had to lead the bunker to ensure the impunity of the facts of the previous government.

"Néstor Humberto Martínez arrived to cover all the corruption in favor of former President Santos and former Vice President Germán Vargas Lleras (…) .This economic conglomerate has obtained impunity "said Lozano. She added that during the debate on the reform of the balance of power, she said that the measures taken as part of this reform were to guarantee the position of prosecutor.

"By the time he challenged me, he challenged me to resign … and he also told me that I did not want to be a prosecutor." The reality has proven otherwise, "he said. added Lozano. He said that at that time, Martinez was alongside the former president of the Supreme Court, Leonidas Bustos, who later became one of the protagonists of the poster of the toga.

For Lozano, the prosecutor has multiple conflicts of interest to continue to carry out his duties because he was the legal adviser of Grupo Aval, owned by the richest man in the country, Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo. Grupo Aval, via its subsidiary Corficolombiana, was Odebrecht's minority partner in the construction of Ruta del Sol.

For Lozano, the Attorney General was declared late "when he touched her" in only two cases (the former Gina Parody and Cecilia Alvarez and some principles of opportunity), while the Prosecutor has 17 lines of investigation in Odebrecht. The senator asked Duque to convene an international commission of the United Nations to accompany Colombia in these investigations. The idea would be two years, this commission to support the technical and scientific research in the case of Odebrecht.
