The Colombian Association of Hospitals and Clinics, ACHC, Corferias and Messe Dusseldorf join forces to realize Meditech, one of the most important salons of the health sector in Latin America, with Medica, the first medical appointment in the world, which in its latest version had more than 5,000 exhibitors from 66 countries.

Roberto Vergara, Corferias' international sales director, badured that Messe Dusseldorf is the third largest fair organizer on the international scene.

With the signing of the alliance, it is expected to position Meditech as the most important health show in Latin America.

He pointed out that the consolidation of Meditech will be achieved with increasing participation of international companies in the health sector. more innovations and technologies of the medical industry and the expansion of the international market opening.

"Corferias' projects increase exhibitor participation in Meditech by 40% to 60%, thanks to the international alliance, which is why Corferias, the ACHC," said Vergara.

He added that with the signing of the alliance, it will be possible to have more medical and hospital equipment, expanding the health market with more countries. , with which we undoubtedly continue to reinvent and reinforce our fair in Colombia as the most important in Latin America.

The Director of International Affairs of Corferias said that increasing the participation of exhibitors and international suppliers by 2020, will attract more health professionals, such as clinic and hospital directors , the countries of Central America, the Caribbean and the Andes.

"Health professionals will choose Colombia and Meditech rather than other commercial events in Europe."

Marcela Sánchez, project manager of the fair, said that the VI edition of Meditech will be developed from July 3 to 6 in the Great Hall of Corferias and this year will bring together exhibitors from Colombia, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Republic of Korea, Spain, United States, France, Italy, Malaysia , Mexico, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey and Uruguay.

In addition, three delegations will be present: Germany, with nine companies; Italy with three companies and China with 54.
