Atlético Huila won a historic qualifying for the Copa Libertadores final after beating Iranduba of Brazil on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
Now the team led by Alberto Erazo will face Santos in the final, which beat Chile, Colo Colo, 3-0. The final will take place on Sunday at 7:30 pm, Colombia time, at the Arena Amazonia Stadium in Manaus.
The big figure was the guardian Daniela Solera. Costa Rica has decided to make La Huila the second Colombian club to qualify for the deal, after Formas Intimáticos had it in 2013.
"It's a great happiness, we've been fighting since we left Colombia, I've had the chance to stop two penalties and God always gives me the opportunity to do things right, I was able to do something more, but thank God we are in the final, "Solera said.
Huila had started losing after 25 minutes of play, thanks to a Mayara goal in which the goalkeeper of the Colombian team was very engaged.
The draw came in the 36th minute of the second leg, when Argentina's Lucia Martelli took advantage of a rebound by the goalkeeper to score 1-1.
