Atlético de Madrid paid tribute to Radamel Falcao on Wednesday, ahead of the Champions League match against Monaco, in memory of his two seasons at club rojiblanco.
Mattress Captain Diego Godin, who was a teammate of the Colombian, handed him a picture with a drawing of Falcao with the red and white shirt.
After receiving the memory of his role as "colchonero" striker between 2011 and 2013, Falcao went to applaud the stands and hold his hand to his heart, while the Metropolitano audience applauded his old hero
In two seasons with Atlético de Madrid, the "Tigre" played 93 games, or 70 goals, which allowed to win a Europa League, a Copa del Rey and a European Supercup. This Wednesday, Falcao will start the championship game against his former team on the bench, although he probably has minutes throughout the match.
