The process of election of the new Comptroller General of the Republic to Congress continues in mid-March, while the list of candidates was closed. For the moment it is not clear if the Santander Industrial University, ISU, will do the selection process.

As stated, a total of 109 candidates have been registered to replace Edgardo Maya Villazón, who will go until the end of August next in the post. From now on, the profile review process should be done to identify who meets the requirements.
