Prosecutor Néstor Humberto Martínez said that he had audios of Jorge Pizano dating from 2018. In the recordings, the prosecutor says that Pizano had told him that he had never heard of crimes.

It was said yesterday during the debate on political control in the Senate. The Attorney General arrived at the Congress after several speeches by senators.

When he spoke at the bar, he referred to the intervention of Senator Jorge Robledo. Martinez criticized Robledo stating that he "is smeared in the soul of this case and that he has no interest in knowing the truth".

And in response, he told her that God had sent her a sound.

"Only Pizano, Senator Robledo, could resolve this dispute. […] God exists, senator, because I am not atheist, and last night he sent me audios in which Mr. Jorge Enrique Pizano was neither in 2015, nor in 2016, nor in 2017, in the year 2018 this year; where Pizano told me that he was not aware of the crimes and therefore that I could know about these crimes, "he said.

Thus, he defended himself and claimed to know nothing of the crimes committed by Odebrecht before becoming prosecutor, despite the fact that there is an audio recording in which he enumerates all the crimes committed in the Ruta contract del Sol II.

The prosecutor did not explain where he had obtained the audio and he did not show the recording either.
