A tragedy resulted in the death of five workers in a structure under construction on the Bogotá-Villavicencio highway.
According to Captain Álvaro Farfán, head of the Cundinamarca fire department, this incident is attributable to an operator of one of the cranes who participated in the construction of the La Pala bridge.
Supposedly, the crane operator collided with the part that was transporting and destabilizing the structure.
The recovery of the bodies on the road Bogotá-Villavicencio was difficult.
One person who survived the incident was taken to Meta Clinic in Villavicencio, where it remains reserved.
The incident at kilometer 65 of the road recalled what happened with the Chirajara bridge, two kilometers from where the emergency was recorded, which collapsed on January 15.
