The 2018/2019 Champions League ended with Liverpool as tournament champion, for the sixth time. However, several teams managed to leave good memories and several surprises in the tournament.
125 games were played and a total of 366 goals were scored throughout the season, giving Anfield's team the title. To such an extent that a goal was scored every 32 minutes of play.
For its part, Liverpool was champion but it was not the team that had scored the most goals. Manchester City remained with 30 annotations and the second was Barcelona, with 26; while the award-winning Anfield was 24.
There is also "negative" data. Tottenham, finalist of the tournament, committed more fouls during the tournament and added 167, to two from Ajax and ten from Liverpool. Aek, meanwhile, was the team that recorded the most defeats with six goals, with Tottenham having five.
The Spurs, again, have another negative data. The London club was the team with the most goals, with 19 annotations. Red Star second with 17.
The big surprise of the tournament was Ajax, who eliminated Real Madrid, champion, and Juventus. The Dutch club remained in the semifinals and did not manage the feat.
