On Monday, the new solar energy production farm from Celsia to Bolívar was commissioned, which has an installed capacity of 8.06 MW.

The project, located in the municipality of Santa Rosa de Lima, was built by Epsa with an approximate investment of $ 8 million and funded with the resources of the recent green bond issue of the company. Similarly, according to Celsia, the project used the tax benefits granted by Law 1715, through which the government seeks to promote such projects in the country.

The badembly of Celsia Solar Bolívar, as the project calls it, took seven months of work, 12 hectares and about 32,000 solar panels, with an estimated power of 15,542 MWh per year, which corresponds to the energy consumed by some 7,400 families.

According to the company, this farm will avoid the issue of more than 170,000 tons of COR2 R for 30 years in the country. "With this solar park, we continue to promote the arrival of renewable energy in Colombia and contribute with a development model of low energy consumption emissions." With this plant, we have reached 27 MW of photovoltaic production, between farms, apartments and solar roofs, "said Sierra.

Finally, the director said that Celsia was working to start more solar power farms in the country. On a large scale, the company is advancing large-scale projects in the departments of Cesar, Santander and Tolima
