According to the investigation, the former senator would have used his influence to favor the Brazilian company in the concession of Ruta del Sol II in 2009 and its addition between Ocaña and Gamarra in 2013.

The court said the former senator had sought contacts with officials to make sure Odebrecht intervened in the megaprojects and made concessions for millionaire contracts.
