The weekend of July 20-22 will be a special anniversary Splatfest in which players can choose if they prefer squid boys, pearl option, or octopus boys, which obviously will be the choice of Marina. Squid team members will play with the players during the event, while Octopus team members will only be Otarians, so they will not the DLC. The decision can be taken from Friday, June 6 in the main hub of the game.
