This Thursday, at 12:39 in the morning, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 was felt in Bogotá and in several regions of the center of the country.
According to the report of the Colombian Geological Survey, the earthquake had its epicenter in the municipality of Colombia in the department of Huila. According to the SGC, the depth of the surface was less than 30 km.
The National Disaster Risk Management Unit reported that, for the moment, no damage or badignment is registered in the country. Likewise, the Official Fire Department badured that no emergency occurred in Bogota.
The violent earthquake, which caused panic among the inhabitants of several regions, was felt in: Medellín (Antioquia), Bogotá, Manizales (Caldas), Florencia (Caquetá), Chía, Fusagasugá, Funza, Soacha , Girardot, Mosquera, Madrid, Ricaurte, Beltran, El Colegio (Cundinamarca), Neiva, Tello, Teruel (Huila), Villavicencio, Vistahermosa, Cubarral, Acacias, Granada, El Castillo, Meseta (Meta), Calarcá, Armenia, La Tebaida (Quindío), Santa Rosa de Cabal, Pereira, Dosquebradas (Risaralda), Floridablanca (Santander), Guamo, Ibague, Chaparral (Tolima), Palmira, Florida and Cali (Valle del Cauca).
