Colts quarterback Philip Rivers just gave us the worst tackle attempt I’d ever seen from a professional athlete.

In the Indianapolis game against Baltimore on Sunday, the veteran quarterback tried to stop Ravens defensive back Chuck Clark from scoring after a fumble. Needless to say, Rivers failed and Clark scored.

Rivers looks like a stranded whale stranding on the shore as he tries to make this tackle.

I know the veteran quarterback isn’t the most athletic guy on the planet, but you’d think he could at least stay on his feet while trying to play on a runner.

Rivers had the athletic coordination of a sea turtle on this piece. I don’t think I’ve seen a footage that has so exposed someone’s inability to do a basic human function like moving their foot in front of the other until I see this piece from Rivers.

The gunslinger’s ankles stiffened against him like he had a child lock on them.

He may never have had a chance to play on Clark even though his feet have worked well, but you can at least try to move better than a baby sheep.

Come on, Rivers, we can’t come out sad like this.
