Amazon Studios has confirmed that it has acquired the worldwide rights to the highly anticipated “Coming 2 America” sequel from Paramount Pictures, and has set a March 5, 2021 launch date on Amazon Prime Video.
Variety reported that the deal was being reached last month.
The film is a sequel to John Landis’ 1988 comedy “Coming to America,” which grossed over $ 288 million worldwide.
