The latest COVID-19 outbreak in WWE fortunately didn’t affect the top matches on the Royal Rumble map. WWE continued to prepare for the WWE Championship Match on TV and all social media platforms.
The WWE Instagram handle posted a photo of Goldberg with the WWE Championship to gauge fan reaction.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that most fans don’t want to see Goldberg with the WWE Championship. Almost all comments are against the idea of Goldberg capturing the Great Gold Belt. The WWE Championship feud for Royal Rumble
The storyline between Goldberg and Drew McIntyre began at the end of the RAW’s Legends Night episode of Monday Night. The former WCW Champion appeared after McIntyre’s match against Keith Lee and challenged the WWE Champion.
Last week’s episode had a bizarre ending, as Goldberg provided an odd reason behind his motivations for taking on Drew McIntyre. The Superstars hit their heads before the show aired.
Drew McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19 before this week’s RAW threatens to derail all well-established WWE plans. Despite being in quarantine, the Scottish Warrior has appeared on RAW in two video segments. He first spoke to fans and gave an update on health. In the second segment, Drew McIntyre accepted Goldberg’s challenge, and the match was officially booked for the Royal Rumble PPV.
The belief is that Goldberg and McIntyre will not embark on a long match, which should ideally end with the triumphant retention of the WWE title for the Scottish superstar. However, WWE has made many massive gaps with Goldberg in the past, and it could happen again. Will Goldberg make history by becoming the new WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble?
