Microsoft announced Tuesday the return of its backward-compatible sale, offering offers on Xbox and Xbox 360 games that can be played on the Xbox One. It's the biggest sale the company has ever made for retro-compatible games, with more than 200 classic titles down to 75%.
Microsoft's backward compatibility program, which allows some original Xbox and Xbox 360 games to run on Xbox One, is one of the platform's best features. The library of eligible titles is huge, with over 500 games currently available and new ones added regularly. Some even benefit from Xbox One X Enhanced processing, further optimizing the game for the most powerful console on the market.
Most discounted games at the time of sale are part of this Xbox One X Enhanced program, including first listings in favorite franchises such as the original one. Red Dead Redemption, on sale for $ 9.89, and in 2007 Assassin's Creed, down to $ 7.99.
