It turns out that those who look forward to the TurboGrafx-16 Mini will not need to find the Japanese equivalent to play Castlevania: Blood Rondo, after all. In fact, apart from a title change, the complete list of 50 titles will be virtually identical in all three regions!
In addition to that, we also have a release date for the console supported by Konami. The TurboGrafx-16 mini (North America) / PC Engine CoreGrafx mini (Europe) / PC Engine mini (Japan) will be launched on March 19 at 10,500 yen. The three versions of the mini-console will be sold exclusively by Amazon Japan, the pre-orders will open on July 15 at 0:00 JST.
As mentioned, the mini console includes 50 games. The TurboGrafx-16 mini and its European equivalent, the PC Engine CoreGrafx mini, offer the same games. The only difference lies in the games offered by the Japanese PC Engine mini, which exchange Salamander for Tokimeki Memorial.
For genre fans, this list now includes Snatcher, Cadash, Necromancer Jaseikenand of course, the aforesaid Castlevania: Blood Rondo. Unfortunately (and inexcusably, for some), the Splatterhouse is missing from this collection.
You can consult the complete list of titles included in the console on the official website.
