The next draft of the WWE is officially scheduled for October.
WWE confirmed today that the repechage will be held on two shows next month. It will begin at SmackDown on Friday, October 11th and then continue on Raw on Monday, October 14th.
Dave Meltzer said earlier this month that it was planned dates for the draft. The SmackDown episode takes place in Las Vegas, while Denver will host the Raw episode.
October 11 is the second episode of SmackDown on FOX. WWE announced that "on both nights of the draft, Raw Superstars and SmackDown will appear alongside FOX and NBCUniversal personalities to announce the selections that will determine the alignments of each distinct brand."
Raw is broadcast on the USA network, which is part of NBCUniversal.
The last full WWE draft was held in 2016. Since then, WWE has performed Superstar Shake-up, the latest in April. The "Wild Card Rule" was introduced in May, allowing wrestlers to appear on both brands.
Meltzer noted that next month's project was part of a series of steps that will be taken to refresh Raw and SmackDown with talent and other means.
SmackDown will air live on Friday nights when it will switch to FOX. The first episode takes place on October 4th and focuses on the 20th anniversary celebrations of SmackDown.
The next month's project was announced at the NFL on FOX today.
