Conor McGregor didn’t seem to be done aiming for nasty messages to Dustin Poirier and his family after Poirier’s technical knockout at UFC 264 this weekend.
McGregor was caught shooting Poirier, including his child, in at least one of the tweets and again bringing the fighter’s wife into the mix. MMA Junkie and several other MMA-centric blogs captured the tweets, which were later deleted.

Among the deleted tweets, McGregor reportedly said:
“I am a dangerous man.”
“Gonésis.”
“I’m a bad guy, I promise you.”
“Your wife is your husband.
“Hey guys! I don’t want to associate any negativity with my foundation, so I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for Dustin’s wife trying to send me a private message on Instagram.”
Poirier took some of McGregor’s garbage and spoke to heart. He said he didn’t like some of the things that were said.

“Conor said nasty stuff that didn’t work out (‘UFC Embedded’),” he said, via MMA Junkie. “Maybe when the behind the scenes of this fight airs, you’ll see him on the ground saying some really bad things again. I have kids. I want him to come home safe and sound for his family. I pray beforehand. these fights.
“Every time before I walk through that octagonal door, I pray that I don’t win,” Poirier continued. “I pray we both get out of there safe and sound. I know what I’m going to try to do to him and I know what he’s going to try to do with me.”
McGregor also sent some of his pre-fight and post-fight trash to Poirier’s wife.
It was even too much for UFC president Dana White.
“I haven’t heard a single word of it,” White said at the post-fight press conference, according to MMA Junkie.
But when told what was pitched against Jolie Poirier, White said he “didn’t like it”.
Jolie Poirier had the final say on McGregor.

As the Irishman hurled more insults as he sat on the mat tending to her butt, she knocked down McGregor as she left the cage.
