Conor McGregor of the UFC releases his first statement after his arrest in Miami

Conor McGregor made his first observations since his arrest Monday night.

The former two-division UFC champion released a picture with a legend early Tuesday morning, just hours after creating a link and being released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correction Center in Miami.

"Patience in this world is a virtue on which I continue to work," wrote McGregor. "I love my fans very much. Thank you all. "

McGregor is charged with Robbery, Second Degree Crime and Criminal Mischief, Third Degree Crime, according to the arrest affidavit obtained by MMA Fighting. The charges come from an event that occurred early Monday morning in front of the famous Fountainebleu hotel in Miami Beach.

McGregor, originally from Ireland, is accused of slapping his cell phone around 5:20 am when leaving the hotel, which houses the famous Liv nightclub. McGregor allegedly stomped on the phone several times, took it and walked away.

The alleged victim, Ahmed Abdirzak, told the police that the phone had been damaged and worth $ 1,000. Abdirzak was trying to take a picture of McGregor when McGregor allegedly slapped her hand, according to the affidavit.

McGregor, 30, was arrested at 5:56 pm local time Monday on both counts and transported to Turner Guilford Knight Penitentiary. He borrowed $ 12,500 around 10:30 pm local time.

"Last night, Conor McGregor was involved in a small altercation on the phone that caused a call to the police," said McGregor's lawyer, Samuel Rabin, in a statement. "Mr. McGregor appreciates the reaction of the forces of the order and pledges to cooperate fully with him."

By several reports, McGregor recently completed 25 hours of community service in connection with his guilty plea for disorderly driving conduct following the famous Brooklyn bus attack last year.

McGregor is currently suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) for his role in the post-UFC 229 scrum in Las Vegas, involving his opponent that night, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and the Nurmagomedov team. "The Notorious" is eligible to lift the six-month suspension on April 5th.
