Conor McGregor debuts as the overwhelming favorite in a boxing match against Machine Gun Kelly if the two meet in a celebrity boxing match.
McGregor and Kelly had an argument during the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) red carpet, which took place outside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Sunday, September 12.
Bovada has released his odds for a celebrity boxing match between McGregor and MGK with that of “The Notorious” emerging as a clear favorite over the rapper and pop-punk artist. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) two-division titleholder opened at -5000 to +1000 for Kelly. This means that a bettor will have to bet $ 5,000 on McGregor to win $ 100. On the other hand, a successful bet of $ 100 on Kelly would net you a profit of $ 1,000.
There are various reports of what sparked the confrontation between McGregor, 33, and Kelly, 31. Images captured during the incident show McGregor rushing at Kelly – with numerous security guards between them – and throwing a drink at the musician. A new report suggests McGregor was sending private messages to Megan Fox, MGK’s girlfriend, on social media.
McGregor (22-6) is currently recovering from a broken leg (see here) suffered in a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier which took place at UFC 264 on July 10.
