Conor McGregor returned to the ring Friday, but not for his return to mixed martial arts.

Instead, the Irish superstar participated in an exhibition boxing match on her former playground at the Crumlin Boxing Club, near Dublin, in her home country, Ireland.

The match was held as part of Boxing Club's 'Friday Friday', which included 14 fights over the Easter weekend. McGregor was not announced for the card but for the name "A. Another was entered on the match sheet before the show.

McGregor eventually beat Michael McGraine to a tie after exchanging punches in front of the raging crowd at the famous Irish boxing club.

McGregor had just stopped at the gym to work. It was here that began his career in combat sports before embarking on mixed martial arts and becoming the biggest draw in the history of the sport.

The future of McGregor's fights was at stake since he announced his retirement from the sport a few weeks ago, but then retracted the statement as he continued his discussions with the UFC in his next fight.

UFC President Dana White recently announced that he plans to meet McGregor in Miami to discuss his return to the game. His last fight, last October, ended in a defeat. naked in the fourth round at the back of the lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
