The individuals, aged 19 to 72, are being treated at local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries, the New York City Police Department said.

“A preliminary report shows that two men approached eastbound on the sidewalk on the north side of 37th Avenue from 97th Street while brandishing guns,” Frierson said. “The shooters advanced towards the crowd, firing a lot of shots before jumping back on two scooters driven by two other men and fleeing the scene.”
Police are currently looking for the four people suspected of being behind the shooting. They are described as men who wore masks and hooded sweatshirts.

Police believe three of the 10 injured are members of the Trinitarios gang and the other seven victims were not intentional targets, he said.
