Admittedly, we have already seen it. Since the new Corvette has had more leakage than the Corvette C4, the wheel has already proven itself in spy throws. But General Motors itself has released the official chart today, in anticipation of its car debut in Southern California next week.

So, what's up here? This is a solid evolution compared to the outgoing C7 wheel, shown below. The wheel looks more supercar-ish than ever. It appears to be wider, has a flatter bottom, carries its volume knobs in a new location and has more pronounced spokes protruding from the central hub.

The paddles here allow you to change gears, as the only gearbox expected on the new Corvette is a two-speed paddle clutch. On the outgoing C7, on manual transmission models, the pallets activate and deactivate the speed match. I've always thought that it was an interesting use of paddles.

It is worth mentioning that the C7 represents a significant advance in interior quality compared to a previous Corvette. It will be interesting to see how much the C8 takes this and how much the price jumps to match these new features.
