Booker added, "I'm running for this election because I know we can do more than that."
Booker never mentioned Biden's name, although his comments came two days after Jill Biden told voters in New Hampshire, "I want you to think about your candidate, his eligibility and who's going to win this race. "
She continued, "Your candidate may be better than Joe, but I do not know about health, but you have to figure out who will win this election. And maybe you'll have to swallow a little bit and say, "OK, personally, I like a lot, but better yet," but your ultimate goal is that we have to beat Trump.
Booker, who polls about 2% of voters nationwide, has already attacked Biden for writing and helping to advance the 1994 crime bill.
