When the Greek gods clashed atop Mount Olympus, whoever would have been lucky enough to be within range would have probably seen something as wild as Yoel Romero against Paulo Costa.

These were two men who looked like casual sports fans would probably think they imagined a caged fighter – sweaty athletes with fist-shaped abdominals, an oversized trapezium and gigantic biceps that crack the veins.

Romero and Costa, that's what happens when genetic abnormalities of great power fight, because in the first round only, they touch each other's face and body, exchanging punches, hooks and cuts until they were both overthrown. , electrifying the Honda Center crowd in Anaheim, California.

Neither of the two fighters was discouraged after being dropped, Romero still increasing the pace with a flying knee. Joe Rogan told ESPN +: "It was one of the few fights to have come up with all the hype – amazing."

The three judges scored the match in the same manner, 29-28 to the winner, Costa, who extended his fight record to 13-0 (11 by KO, one per submission) after crossing the distance with Romero, who saw his record drop to 16 -4 because of defeat.
