August is approaching and that means it’s almost time for the residents of your Animal Crossing: New Horizons island to light up the night sky with fireworks. This time around, however, there will be a few new items to collect, thanks to a July 29 update.
As announced via the official Japanese update release, three new prizes will be added to Redd’s lottery: Cotton Candy, a popsicle, and tapioca drinks.
That’s not all, however, as several other seasonal items will be added, ranging from dango to ‘cucumber horse’.
These items will be available on different dates through Nook Shopping and you can get the full rundown on the Japanese site.
Make sure to download the new update on July 29 to take advantage of these new features! As for the future, Nintendo promises “more free updates”.
