Country singer Taylor Dee has died aged 33.

A representative from the Euless City Police Department confirmed to Fox News that the “Greener Grass” singer died Sunday after a car crash on State Highway 183 near Euless, Texas.

Police said they arrived at the scene around 10:05 pm to find Dee-born Taylor Dawn Carroll in “serious condition” a short distance outside the vehicle.

“At 36 [sic.] a man, who was also an occupant of the vehicle, was found outside the vehicle with non-fatal injuries, ”the statement said.

“Investigators determined that the Chevrolet Trailblazer was attempting to make a sudden lane change out of the TEXpress lane when it struck a crash barrier,” the statement added. “The impact knocked the Trailblazer into the air, hitting a vertical steel road sign with its roof before coming to rest upside down on the freeway.”

Authorities believe Dee was driving the car and not wearing a seat belt and that alcohol “may be a contributing factor.”

They added: “The investigation is currently underway, but it does not appear that there will be any criminal charges related to the collision.”

According to online records from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, she died at 10:52 p.m. in a hospital.

His cause and the manner of his death are still pending. She has to undergo an autopsy.

A representative from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for further comment.

A GoFundMe was created after Dee’s death, with Karla Terrell as beneficiary. It’s currently unclear who Terrell is in relation to Dee, but the page asks, “Please help our family put her to rest.”

According to the online fundraiser, the singer has had two children.

“She will be loved and missed forever,” the Page said. “She left this world earlier so [sic.] each of us was ready for. “

Texas Country Music Association president Linda Wilson paid tribute to the next generation of music in a statement to a local CBS outlet.

“Taylor Dee was the real deal – a real talent with a heart and a passion not only for her music but also for people,” she said. “In every performance her talent was evident, but more importantly, she let her fans know her heart. She will be sorely missed.”
